About us

Welcome to our little corner of handmade baby comfort. Our Story Knitnest started with a simple observation: parents want baby products that feel as warm and personal as a hand-me-down from grandma. The mass-produced baby blankets on the market were either flimsy, soulless, or both. We believed there was room for something better — pieces that carry the texture, intention, and durability of true craftsmanship. Our founder worked alongside a small group of skilled knitters in Guangdong, China — each with over a decade of experience working with baby-safe yarn. Together, we designed our first collection of 3D animal blankets, and the response from parents confirmed what we suspected: people care deeply about what wraps around their baby. Today, Knitnest serves parents in North America, Europe, and Oceania. Every blanket, sweater, sleep sack, and lovey still passes through the same hands-on quality check before it leaves our studio. What We Make Our product line has grown beyond blankets to include: - Hand-Knit Baby Blankets (80x80 cm) — 3D animal designs including Ballerina Hippo, Kangaroo, Hedgehog, Elephant, and Fox. Each comes with a gift box, ready for a baby shower or newborn welcome. - Toddler 3D Animal Sweaters (2T-5T) — Fox with tail, Reindeer hooded cardigan, Crocodile striped knit, Elephant, Owl, Bear, and Sheep. Made from 100% cotton yarn with dimensional animal details. - Baby Arms-Up Swaddle Sleep Sacks — Designed to let babies self-soothe while feeling secure. Double zipper for easy diaper changes. Available in solid colors and prints (star, rainbow, floral, heart). - Muslin Cotton Security Loveys — Lightweight comfort blankets in bunny, goose, and star & moon designs. Soft enough for newborn skin, durable enough for the toddler years. Our Materials Promise We do not compromise on materials. Our cotton sweaters use 100% cotton yarn that is soft against sensitive skin and free from harsh chemicals. Our acrylic blankets use a high-grade, baby-safe acrylic that is easy to care for and retains its shape after washing. Every batch of yarn is tested for harmful substances before it ever touches our knitting needles. How We Work Knitnest is not a fast-fashion brand. We produce in small batches, we restock based on real demand, and we would rather run out of stock than push out a product we are not proud of. Our knitters are paid fair wages and work under reasonable conditions — because a baby product made under stress never feels as warm as one made with care. Our Commitment to You When you order from Knitnest, you are not just buying a product. You are getting the support of a small team that genuinely cares about your baby's comfort. If something is not right with your order, we will make it right — whether that means a replacement, a refund, or a careful conversation about what went wrong. That promise is at the core of everything we do.
